Ryanair flew a record 9.4 million passengers in the peak summer month of August – up 400,000 on the same month last year.
The carrier cited its low fares and “improving customer experience” as the key drivers of the monthly growth.
The load factor increased by four percentage points to hit 93%.
Ryanair’s rolling annual passenger total to the end of August stood at a record 83.4 million – a rise of 4%.
Chief marketing officer Kenny Jacobs said: “The launch of our new family and business products have been extremely successful and have contributed significantly to these highest ever load factors in Ryanair’s history.”
