EasyJet flights to and from all Italian airports will be hit by a strike by cabin crew on Wednesday.
The industrial action by the airline’s Italian cabin staff will take place all day in Italy.
“We are doing everything possible to minimise the impact to our customers, however we have had to proactively cancel a number of flights to and from Italy,” the carrier said.
“We apologise for any inconvenience that the strike may cause, despite this being beyond the airline’s control.”
Passengers booked on affected flights will be informed by text and email, and there will be up-to-date information on the airline’s website.
Travellers on cancelled flights are being offered a transfer to a new flight free of charge or a full refund.
