STAR Alliance has become the first global airline group to put schedules and availability of members into one display on computer reservation systems.
The deal with Amadeus also allows agents using Galileo to access Star Alliance information through the code *A.
Amadeus said the display heralds the start of new products designed exclusively for airline alliances.
Star Alliance members are Air Canada, Air New Zealand, Ansett Australia, Lufthansa, SAS, Thai Airways, United Airlines and Varig.
