Fort Young Hotel on the island of Dominica has completed a £3m renovation and expansion programme. Eighteen ocean-front rooms and three one-bed suites have been added, taking the totalnumber of rooms to 50.A spa facility has alsobeen built, along with a new jetty, dive shop and expanded duty-free shopping.

n uk visitor figures on the up for caymans



Latest figures show the number of UK visitors to the Cayman Islands has increased by 8% for the first quarter of this year, compared to the same period in 1998. The three islands are targeting an overall increase of 12% in 1999, equivalent to 27,000 visitors.
