Palm Island moves to Antigua stable

PALM Island, a tiny hideaway in the Grenadines, has been bought by Antigua Resorts owner Rob Barrett and has closed for a multi-million dollar renovation.

The 24-room property is due to reopen on November 1 as an all-inclusive. It will feature 42 rooms and include two restaurants, two bars, a swimming pool, tennis courts, a yacht club and watersports. Rates will range from $520 per couple per night to $580.

The three Antigua Resorts properties are the 70-room Galley Bay, 282-room Royal Antiguan and the 178-room St James’s Club.
