Air Canada changes top team to strengthen president’s role


AIR Canada has reorganised its executive team to strengthen the role of new president and chief operating officer Robert Milton.



Lise Fournel becomes senior vice-president commercial with responsibilities for marketing, sales and product distribution. She will lead the information technology branch and have responsibility for Air Canada’s millennium programme.



New vice-president marketing is Danielle Poudrette, while Ron Clark is the new vice-president corporate safety and environment.



The important role of vice-president alliances has gone to Ross MacCormack.



His position is vital to keep Air Canada at the forefront of the Star Alliance.



Air Canada’s top tier of management continues with chief executive and vice-chairman Lamar Durrett leading the team that includes senior vice-president finance and chief financial officer Rob Peterson and senior vice-president corporate affairs and government relations Doug Port.
