Staff at tailor-made specialist Audley Travel have donated Christmas presents to families in need in their local areas.
The firm’s annual toy drive encouraged staff to donate toys and gifts for children, resulting in more than 230 presents gathered from Audley’s UK offices in Shepherd’s Bush, London, and Witney, Oxfordshire.
The gifts will be distributed by The Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea and the Oxfordshire Toy Bank to underprivileged children in London and Oxfordshire.
Katie Sandwell, HR director at Audley Travel, said: “It is the season for spreading kindness and giving – values that Audley firmly believes in.
“We are proud that through our collaborative community relationships, in some small way, we can help to light up a child’s Christmas and hopefully make it a memorable one this year.”
Sadia Ramzan, family hub operational lead at The Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea, said: “These gifts ensure that children and young people, especially those from the most vulnerable families in our borough, have something to open and feel special on Christmas Day.
“Initiatives like this help us bring a little joy to those who need it the most and we’re grateful for the staff generosity at Audley Travel in making this possible.”
John Houston, Oxfordshire Toy Bank Founder, added: “Since starting the Oxfordshire Toy Bank five years ago we have seen demand skyrocket. Support from partners like Audley Travel is vital in helping us meet this demand.
“Their support over the last couple of years has meant we can supply toys to underprivileged children who otherwise may get nothing, and we look forward to continuing the partnership as the Toy Bank grows.”
