Walking holiday specialist Ramble Worldwide has appointed Kelly Maher to the newly created role of head of marketing.
As part of her new role, she will be responsible for direct and trade communications. Maher is also recruiting a trade partnerships manager “who will further strengthen the ongoing work of re-engaging with our trade partners”, said the company.
She has more than 15 years of marketing experience across both agency and client-side roles, including leadership positions at brands such as British Airways, Teletext Holidays and Your Golf Travel.
Before joining Ramble Worldwide, she was head of marketing at Zapgo, an EV charging brand.
At Ramble Worldwide, Maher will focus on enhancing the brand’s presence “using her data-driven skills to optimise growth-focused marketing strategies”.
She said: “I’m delighted to be joining a company with such a rich heritage and a bright future. My passion for understanding customer needs and delivering creative, impactful marketing campaigns will help us innovate and encourage more walkers worldwide.”
Wayne Perks, managing director, added: “I am thrilled to welcome Kelly at such a pivotal time in the brand’s evolution, and with Kelly’s expertise, we can look forward to developing captivating campaigns that will appeal to a new generation of adventurers seeking inspiring walking holidays.”
