Advantage consortium to hold leadership training day

A leadership training day exclusively for Advantage member businesses is to be run in conjunction with Amadeus and training organisation Future Sales Factory.

The one-day event takes place on July 21 at the Amadeus training academy at Gatwick.

Limited to 12 delegates to maximise the value of the learning, the training is applicable to both leisure and business travel members.

The objectives include: to define exactly what leadership is; understand an individual’s leadership and personal brand; not to “walk past” poor standards; to identify the leadership skills to apply to increase performance; develop communication skills; review performance; and coaching staff.

The course is complementary to a new ‘soft skills’ programme recently launched by Amadeus which includes presentation skills, sales skills and personal impact training.

Advantage Travel Partnership business development director, Colin O’Neill said: “We have always emphasised staff training in both product and skills.  This programme fits perfectly with our aim of introducing products and services to positively influence member profitability.

“It is a great addition to our consultancy services portfolio and we are confident it will add real value to our members’ businesses.”
