Amadeus River Cruises has put its European cruises on sale for the first half of 2026.
The 17 itineraries range from five to 16 days and will visit 13 countries on 14 ships, including the incoming Amadeus Aurea.
The line will introduce a six-night ‘Rhine Concert Cruise with André Rieu’ from Cologne to Amsterdam on Amadeus Cara, departing on January 5, 2026.
The cruise will include a concert at the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam from the violinist (pictured) and his Johann Strauss Orchestra.
Prices start at £1,049 per person including all meals, soft drinks, beer and wine with lunch and dinner, the concert in Amsterdam, Wi-Fi and port fees.
Fred Holidays, Amadeus’ general sales agent, has put together a fly or rail-inclusive price leading in at £1,699 per person.
Amadeus River Cruises has also expanded its excursions for the first half of 2026.
Active additions include more cycling tours in Vienna, Bamberg and Amsterdam, hiking opportunities in Linz and Oberwesel and vineyard explorations near Bernkastel.
Culinary activities added for the season comprise wine tastings in Koblenz, Cochem and Rüdesheim, a trip to the Halles de Lyon Paul Bocuse market hall and a truffle farm visit in Grignan.
There will also be waltz lessons, concerts on the Rhine, Budapest by Night with a folk programme and a chanson evening on selected French routes.
Prices for the rest of the 2026 programme start from £1,033 per person for the seven-night ‘Treasures of Burgundy & Provence’ sailing round trip from Lyon departing March 25, 2026.
The line is offering a 15% early booking discount across all 2026 cruises booked before November 30, 2025.
