Tradewinds has boosted its ex-Florida Caribbean cruise-and-stay programme for this summer to meet demand for longer holidays.
Tradewinds Caribbean contracts manager Gordon Torrance said: “In the summer, two-week durations tend to be more popular.
“People are increasingly opting for an itinerary that allows them to start and finish the cruise in their chosen resort.”
New product includes a 14-night package with a four-night cruise around the Bahamas on Carnival Fantasy, and 10 nights’ four-star accommodation in Orlando. The lead-in price is £999, including flights from the UK.
Also on offer is a 14-night package that combines a seven-night cruise around the Cayman Islands on Carnival Sensation, with seven nights’ four-star accommodation in Orlando.
The lead-in price for the package is £1,059, including flights from the UK.
n Torrance said Tradewinds is looking for a replacement ship to operate its Asian cruise-and-stay package following the sinking of Sun Vista off the coast of Malaysia last month (see story, left).
