Radisson aims for incentive cruise market

RADISSON Seven Seas Cruises has issued its first brochure targeting UK conference and incentive business.

The 28-page publication, entitled ‘A Perfect Incentive’, features a rundown of the accommodation, catering, facilities, conference rooms and audio/visual equipment offered on the companies’ four existing ships.

It also introduces Radisson’s forthcoming 708-passenger all-balcony ship Seven Seas Mariner, which is due to be launched in February next year.

UK vice-president of sales and marketing Michael Baker said the cruiseline had three full ship incentive charters lasting between three and five days booked on Radisson Diamond this year.

However, it has already received seven enquires for bookings next year following the launch of the new brochure.

“We have identified the importance of providing meetings organisers and incentive houses with comprehensive information in a user-friendly format,” said Baker.

He added: “Many people choose a hotel because they don’t realise a cruise ship is suitable for this kind of trip.

“They are pleasantly surprised when they get our details and see what we have.”
