Clarity Travel Management is to shut two more regional offices.
In May, Travel Weekly revealed that the corporate firm was closing two offices. This week the agency confirmed it was also set to shut offices in Birmingham and Rotherham, affecting 15 members of staff.
Both branches are expected to close next month and a 30-day consultation period is under way to “explore alternative roles” for staff.
A spokesman said the agency remained “committed to servicing accounts regionally”. But he confirmed that the nature of the business was changing, as clients chose different booking methods.
He added: “The Birmingham and Rotherham branches focus on university clients, and we are looking to consolidate this business within Clarity’s University Centre of Excellence in Stafford.”
