COSMOS is bidding to keep abreast of the game with a sweet-smelling competition.
The operator has signed up TV’s gardening star Charlie Dimmock – best known for pottering around the garden braless – to launch the challenge today.
Charlie is offering top tips, yes tips, to agents who will receive their very own sunflower growing kit, complete with pot, seeds and compost.
The Cosmos Blooming Wonderful Millennium Sunflower Competition involves agents growing the flowers to at least 3ft by August 15 to enter a draw for a Lanzarote holiday.
If the flowers reach Charlie’s height of 5ft 6ins by September 30, agents, names will go into the hat to win a holiday in Florida. Prizes will be presented by Charlie at a Cosmos agents’ event at the end of the summer.
