Cruise and ski specialist Iglu is increasing the size of its workforce by 15% as it looks to expand business by 20% this year.
Managing director Simone Clark said the business would take on about 30 permanent members of staff and a further 25 temps for the ski season.
Iglu employs about 200 people but Clark said the recruitment drive reflected an increase in business and the potential for further growth.
“We will be creating about 55 jobs this financial year,” said Clark. “About 25 of those are temporary ski roles, but the top sellers there could be offered permanent positions.
“The other 30 jobs are to support our growth and improve customer service. There are sales positions and marketing jobs.”
The positions also include apprenticeships in marketing and customer service, as well as full-time roles in back-office departments such as accounts, finance, IT and web development.
“This is a reflection of the growth we’ve achieved already, but you can’t be complacent,” she added. “We’ve budgeted another 20% growth for this year and these roles will be part of that.”
