ST LEONARD DE NOBLAT
How to get there: St Leonard de Noblat is just under 300 miles from Caen, which is served from Portsmouth by Brittany Ferries. There are motorways for most of the way and this includes some toll roads which can add another £20 each way to the cost of travelling. It’s possible to do the complete journey in a day, but more relaxing to stop off en route. Brittany Ferries offers bed and breakfast and chambres d’hotes properties under its Bed and Breakfast En Liberte programme. Most of the rooms are in French homes, but there is also a selection of guesthouses.
