Bahamas Flight Guide created for trade

Travel Weekly has teamed up with the Bahamas Tourist Office UK and Nassau Paradise Island Promotion Board to create the latest in a successful series of guides.

The Islands Of The Bahamas Flight Guide, included with today’s issue of Travel Weekly, highlights flight routes to the islands from key destinations in the US and Canada.

These routes, which offer twin-centre options for UK travellers, are in addition to the direct British Airways service from Heathrow to Nassau.

Maria Grazia Marino, district sales manager for the Bahamas Tourist Office UK, said: “We value the continuous support of the agent community.

“If your clients are looking for blissful relaxation or once-in-a-lifetime adventures, they will find everything they are looking for in The Islands Of The Bahamas.”

She added: “British Airways offers a direct flight to Nassau, five times a week, or it is very easy to connect via the US.

“ Nassau is just a 55-minute flight from Miami and only 75 minutes from Orlando, for example, so it is very easy to also sell The Bahamas as a twin-centre package with the US as this flight guide illustrates.”

Suzy Trott, commercial director for the Nassau Paradise Island Promotion Board, said: “This guide is a great resource for agents to have at their finger tips.

“Nassau Paradise Island is well-loved by British travellers and we have great relations with the trade, so the guide gives our agent partners an easy-to-use reference point to also twin Nassau and the islands with destinations on the east coast of the US and Canada and even farther afield.”
