A senior Vodafone director is joining Tui Group in Hanover as head of strategy from October 1.
Frank Rosenberger served as group technology products and services director for the telecoms company for four years and was managing director of Vodafone Germany from 2006 to 2011 in charge of its retail business.
In his most recent role he headed the international development of new business opportunities such as building mobile payment platforms or cloud and security solutions.
Rosenberger has also worked for BT and German corporation Mannesmann for more than 20 years.
Tui Group chief executive, Friedrich Joussen, said: “We want to grow and invest. Filling the group strategy position with a new top manager has been a crucial decision.
“I am delighted that our group has recruited Frank Rosenberger, a manager with extensive international experience. He has comprehensive experience and a successful track record, in particular in innovation management and the transformation of digital trends into commercial products. “
