n Tuscany makes it into meon’s top 10



The popularity of villaholidays in Tuscany has pushed the region into Meon Villas’ top 10destinations for the first time. Bookings to Tuscany for 1999 were up by amassive 95 % on 1998, although exact figures were not available. The Dordogne in France is the next-biggest performer showing 49.5% growth. Though it recorded an increase of just 0.4%, the Algarve continues to be the most popular self-catering destination accounting for almost 20 % of sales.



n Cyplon adds short breaks for jazz festival



Cyplon Holidays hasintroduced short-break packages to Cyprus to coincide with the island’s Jazz Festival which takes place at the amphitheatre in Curium from July 1-4. Prices start at £376 for four nights’ bed andbreakfast at the three-star Avenida Hotel and include a ticket to the jazz festival.



n island outpost adds free caribbean night



Island Outpost is offering a free night’s accommodation to guests who book aminimum of three nights at one of the five boutiqueproperties in the Caribbean. The offer applies to the12-villa Strawberry Hill, the five-villa Goldeneye, and the Caves, all on Jamaica,and in The Bahamas, Pink Sands with 25 cottageson Harbour Islandand Compass Point, with19 units.
