CRYSTALCruises is to offer a new 104-day world cruise itinerary in 2000.
The voyage from Los Angeles to London features 35 stops in 29 countries, and costs from £25,585 for the full cruise.
Other additions to the company’s cruise schedule in 2000 include new Scandinavian and Baltic itineraries, one of which features a visit to Stockholm during the 2000 Annual Tall Ships Regatta. These fly-cruise holidays lead in at around £4,000 for 11 nights.
Altogether, Crystal is planning a 2000 programme of 50 sailings with 43 different itineraries. Maiden ports of call include Easter Island, Pitcairn and the Ivory Coast.
Meanwhile, three 12-night food and wine themed cruises are being offered in the Mediterranean in September this year, leading in at £2,095.
Chef Nigel Haworth and author Michael Broadbent will be guests on the Venetian Romance voyage from Rome to Barcelona., while chef Lars-Erik Underthun from Oslo will join the Mediterranean Magic cruise from Barcelona to Rome. The third cruise, which sails from Rome to Athens, is titled Islands of Antiquity. Norbert Niederkofler will be the guest chef.
