P&O CRUISES has expanded its cruise itineraries from 53 to 76 for 2000 following the introduction of its new ship Aurora.
The cruiseline has published a stand-alone brochure covering Aurora’s maiden season from April to December 2000, and a larger brochure featuring itineraries for Aurora and its three other existing ships.
P&O’s sales and planning director Nigel Esdale said:”Our programme for 2000 is the biggest we have ever had. There are 76 cruises, compared with 53 in 1999. Building Aurora has allowed us to increase and vary the programme.”
Aurora will be carrying out a traditional ex-UK programme in its first season, focussing mainly on the Atlantic Islands and the Mediterranean.
The ship will also make an 18-night voyage to the Black Sea. A five-night cruise to the Iberian Peninsula, staying in one of Aurora’s new standard cabins with a balcony, starts from £1,095.
