Executive jet connections from international Airbus A380 superjumbo flights are to be offered by Etihad Airways.
The UAE carrier claims to be the first scheduled airline to partner with a private jet charter provider to promote specific scheduled flights on its growing global network.
The airline has seen strong demand within the private jet market for its ultra-exclusive The Residence and First Apartment cabins on its A380s.
Etihad is now using the distribution network of private jet charter provider Victor to reach high spending travellers.
Etihad A380s currently operate two out of three daily services from Abu Dhabi to Heathrow, one of two daily services to Sydney, and one of two daily services to New York JFK. The double decker aircraft will be added to services to Melbourne and Mumbai next year.
