HILTON International has announced plans to become the first western hotel company to operate in the Ukrainian capital of Kiev.
The 288-room hotel is being developed in a central location in the city opposite the Opera House at a cost of £35m. The hotel giant has agreed a management contract with the owners joint stock company Teatralny. The Hilton Kiev will be primarily targeted at business travellers. Hilton also has projects under way for a second hotel in Budapest.
