ROYAL Olympic Cruises has cancelled a series of Greek Island and Turkey sailings on its ship Stella Solaris after seeing a dramatic downturn in bookings as a result of the Kosovo crisis.
Nine seven-day cruises, including calls at Istanbul, Mykonos, Rhodes and Santorini, have been cancelled.
UK sales and marketing director Christine Hennessy said:”Kosovo has devastated our bookings.”
Passengers who have been booked on the cancelled cruises have been transferred to a Mediterranean cruise on another ship in the Royal Olympic Fleet, Olympic Countess. Passengers will also be offered a 50% discount on future cruises booked within two years.
