The owner of Irish Ferries today reported a good start to the year.
Irish Continental Group reported overall revenue up by 7.4% to €91.4 million in the first four months of the year.
The ferries division, which includes Irish Ferries, recording a 7.1% year-on-year rise in total revenues to €51.6 million.
“In this seasonally less significant period for tourism, Irish Ferries carried 90,200 cars, an increase of 5% on the previous year,” the group said in a trading update this morning.
“There has been a good start to the year with trading conditions remaining favourable.”
