QATARAirways will complete the refurbishment of business and economy cabins by the summer.

New seats are being fitted into Airbus A300s to give moreleg room, while enhanced service standards are also beingintroduced.

The A300s, used on Qatar’s daily Heathrow-Doha service, also have personal video players for business and first-class passengers.

Last year, Qatar handled 868,277 passengers, an increase of 35% over 1997, which the airline claims to reflect an improved level of customer service.
