A charity golf day is to be run by Cardiff-based schools operator Inspiresport following a recent fund-raising cycle ride.
Staff raised more than £2,600 with a 200-mile cycle ride from Manchester to Cardiff last month.
Welsh rugby star Gethin Jenkins has now been lined up as a guest speaker at the golf event on October 13.
Inspiresport will once again be raising money for charity partner the Dallaglio Foundation, which helps to educate and prepare disengaged and disadvantaged young people for work using the values of rugby.
The company is offering four-ball team packages for £295, which includes breakfast on arrival, 18-holes on the National Championship course at the Vale Resort in Hensol, South Wales, and a two-course evening dinner with a raffle/auction and guest speaker, Gethin Jenkins.
Chief executive Steve Butchart said: “The cycle ride was hard work, so we’re hoping the golf day will be slightly more relaxing but still help to raise lots of money for the fantastic Dallaglio Foundation.
“It will be a great opportunity to showcase the great work the foundation do in South Wales with young adults and to network with other local Welsh businesses.”
