Caribbean hotel group Elegant Hotels today named a former Rocco Forte Hotels finance chief as interim chief financial officer.
Jeffrey Singleton has been appointed by the operator of six hotels in Barbados with immediate effect.
He replaces Richard Jones, who is leaving the group and stepping down from the board. Singleton was also finance director at De Vere Hotel Group.
Elegant Hotels chairman Simon Sherwood said: “We are very pleased to be joined by someone of Jeffrey’s calibre, and we look forward to benefiting both from his knowledge of the luxury hotel sector as well as from his technical expertise in the areas of corporate finance, accounting and external reporting.

The company full year results for 2016 to be in line with market expectations with the figures to be issued on January 17.
