Independent Travel Experts (ITE) celebrated a record number of new homeworkers at its year-end Christmas event held in Birmingham.

The group, a division of The Travel Network Group, saw 68 new homeworkers join in 2016, bringing its total to 120 since forming in 2011.

More than 40 of ITE’s homeworkers attended the day and evening event on December 8 which included a business update, business partner forum and Gala Dinner and awards.

Lisa Henning, group membership services director, said: “Within ITE we had much to celebrate this year with a record number of new homeworkers joining us, record sales for the year and so many awards being won by members of the team.

“ITE has come a long way since we established the business some five years ago and I feel we have reached a point whereby we have now laid strong foundations for the business on which to grow.

“ITE is a very important part of the overall Travel Network Group and we are committed to building an even stronger and more successful homeworking business going forward.

“Our focus will continue to be on providing our homeworkers with excellent commercials, strong back-office support and exceptional marketing.

“We look forward to developing even stronger and more mutual beneficial relationships with each and every one of them.”
