Thomas Cook is to target Manchester United fans in China by promoting special match-day trips to Old Trafford.
The exclusive deal is being offered by Thomas Cook Sport, the club’s official travel services provider.
Fans can get official match break packages for every home game through Thomas Cook China, the joint venture between Thomas Cook and leading Chinese investment conglomerate Fosun.
By extending its current deal with Thomas Cook Sport into China, Manchester United is giving Chinese fans the opportunity to experience Old Trafford in person.
Manchester United Group managing director Richard Arnold said: “Our partnership with Thomas Cook is a long-standing one and we’re delighted it’s been extended to China, where we have more United fans than anywhere else in the world.
“It’s great for us that the packages on offer will give fans the opportunity to enjoy an official visit to Old Trafford.”
Thomas Cook China general manager Alessandro Dassi added: “With a fan base of over 100 million, Manchester United’s popularity in China has no equal.
“Thomas Cook has been a partner to the club in the UK and Europe for over a decade and we are delighted to extend this exclusive partnership into China.
“Fans across the country will have an opportunity to enjoy matches at Old Trafford with the convenience and peace of mind of a personalised travel package organised by a trusted travel company.”
