Rosenbluth signs six new partners

ROSENBLUTH International has signed up six industry partners to work on joint projects at its UKtechnology travel laboratory, due to open in the spring.

The travel management company announced last year that it was setting up the operation, called Continuum-Europe, at its European headquarters in central London (Travel Weekly December 6, 1999).

Amadeus, British Airways, Continental Airlines, Galileo, Hertz and Hilton have signed up to work on projects which will look at the future of travel.

The main focus of Continuum-Europe will be a virtual business travel journey for visitors, highlighting the latest innovations and advances in technology to assist the traveller. The facility simulates home-booking technology, a virtual airline cabin, telecommunications, car and train interiors, and a hotel room.

Rosenbluth’s existing and potential travel management clients will be invited to visit the Continuum-Europe and the partners will be able to use it for their own promotional purposes.

The partners will also be able to use Continuum-Europe to showcase products to visitors, who can give feedback on their experiences.

The European venture follows on the success of a similar department in the US, which was opened in Philadelphia in 1996.
