n Madinah hilton to open in saudi arabi
The 300-room Madinah Hilton will open in Medina, SaudiArabia, in October, opposite the city’s main mosque. The hotel will include an entire floor dedicated to selling gold. It will befollowed by the 350-room Hilton Jeddah and neighbouring,112-apartment Hilton Royal Residences Jeddah, both under construction and scheduled for completion later this year or early in 2000.
n Radisson SAS set to boost oman presence
The Radisson SAS Muscat with 156 rooms and suites and full business facilities, will open in Oman this summer,followed in late 1999 by the 151-room Hilton Salalah, located on a prime beach site in Oman’s top resort, and a Rotana hotel in Muscat within two years.
n Four seasons to build new property in 2001
Four Seasons is building its first hotel in Saudi Arabia. Part of the new Kingdom Trade Centre, the Four Seasons Riyadh plans to become operational in 2001 and will feature 228 rooms and 22 serviced suites for long-term business visitors.
