THE Qualiflyer Group opens its first UKjoint office for nine member airlines on Thursday.
The UK Qualiflyer Group Customer Care Centre will handle business for Swissair, Sabena, Austrian Airlines, Lauda Air, Crossair, Tyrolean Airlines, AOM, Air Littoral and TAPAir Portugal.
Acting chief executive of the centre John Fitch said by July, 150 staff will be employed with the ability to handle 4m annual calls.
Plans to open a Qualiflyer head office for sales and marketing and administration staff have been stalled while a suitable London building is found.
