SCHEDULED coach operator Eurolines has launched its 1999/2000 programme with a range of promotional fares designed to combat competition from budget airlines.
Deals available include Amsterdam, Paris and Brussels for ú33 return, Turin and Milan for ú59 and Copenhagen, Chamonix and Warsaw for ú69 return. All other fares have been frozen or reduced from last year’s prices.
Director of marketing Dave Watkin said:”The no-frills airlines still present a challenge but by tactical fare reduction, we were able to achieve our budget targets last year.”
Ancona, Sienna and Napoli are among the 25 new destinations added to its existing range of 450. Other developments include a 10% discount on fares to Sweden and an increase in the range of destinations in the Czech Republic and Switzerland. Eurolines’ Agents Guide has been revised with 11 tabbed sections, simplified timetables and maps.
