LIKE many other International Air Transport Associationagents, we received a fax from SAS director, marketing and sales UK, Ireland and Iceland, Robin Kamark,recently advising that “in common with other airlines” they were reducing their commission rate from the current 9% to 7%.
It does beg the question whether the airlines concerned wrote, in a similar vein, to their Public Utility Companies and other service providers, be it in the UKor their native lands, advising that they were reducing their liability to pay the services received, by the same level? I think not.
