Hiking: the most scenic route includes the seven-mile-wide Donjek Valley where the Donjek Glacier rises across the west side of the valley.
Biking: the North Canol Road from Ross River to the border of the Northwest Territories offers a challenging wilderness route with a variety of wildlife and flora and fauna.
Fishing: Takhini River offers good flyfishing for arctic grayling and Kathleen Lake in Kluane National Park is renowned for Kokanee salmon.
Lakeside activities: floatplanes are the best way of accessing some of the remote lodges. Tincup Wilderness Lodge in Kluane National Park offers individual log cabins each with their own motor boat, fishing tackle, canoes and kayaks. Central lodge facilities include dining room, lounge and bar.
