Royal Caribbean sets up Web site


US CRUISE giant Royal Caribbean International has set up a Web site for direct sales to passengers wanting to go on one of its 17 ships.



The move into selling holidays over the Internet is a surprising one for the US operator, which also owns the Celebrity brand, since the cruise industry is known for selling through agents far more than in Europe.



However, the company has reassured agents that the Internet is unlikely to take any sales away from them.
