HILTONInternational has signed a management contract for a luxury resort due to open in Kuwait in 2001.
The Hilton Kuwait Resort is owned by the Kuwaiti Commercial Markets Complex Company and is located on the Arabian Gulf coast. It will have 232 rooms and 35 deluxe villas, set in landscaped gardens with a private marina. There will be three restaurants and a banqueting hall for 400 guests.
Leisure facilities will include a gym, two pools, tennis and squash courts, a leisure and cultural centre and the latest high-tech computer games. The hotel will be the first in Kuwait for Hilton, which has 400 properties worldwide in conjunction with its US alliance partner, Hilton Hotels Corporation.
