Fraser retires as Portman regional manager


PORTMANTravel regional manger for Scotland Ian Fraser has retired just before his 65th birthday after 15 years with the agency.



Based in Aberdeen, Fraser started in the trade 40 years ago as a clerk with Thomas Cook.



“Although Iwill miss the company, Iam looking forward to relaxing and spending more time with my family,” he said. Portman has not yet decided whether or not to replace him.



Meanwhile, the agency has appointed Phill Spokes as sales manager for St Albans,Hertfordshire.



Based in the Portman office on St Peter’s Street, he will also be responsible for covering Cambridgeshire, Northamptonshire and Stanmore, north London.



He previously worked for MSW Group as sales manager.
