CHOICE LAUNCHES ’99 ASIA PACIFIC DIRECTORY
Choice Hotels International has launched its 1999 Asia Pacific Directory listing over 560 hotels marketed under the Clarion, Quality, Comfort, Sleep and Flag brands. The 60-pagedirectory details rates, maps and reservations information. New hotels in Indonesia include the Clarion Hotel Jakarta and Quality Hotel Solo in Surakarta; in Malaysia the new Quality Hotel City Centre in Kuala Lumpur is added; and in Japan several Sleep Inn branded hotels are due to open in 2000.
HAYES AND JARVIS OFFERS WINTER SAVINGS
Hayes and Jarvis has reduced packages in Asia in its new 1999 Winter Specials brochure offering savings of up to £99 per person on the main brochure prices for departures until April. Prices for five nights in Thailand lead in at £479 per person; £519 for five nights in Malaysia; and £599 for one week in Bali. The eight-night Sun Vista cruise package, including three nights in Singapore and a five-night Thailand Malaysia coastline cruise is offered at £799.
WORLD DREAMSTARGETS STOPOVER SALES
World Dreams is to launch a 32-page stopover brochure on April 1 featuring a comprehensive list of hotels in Asia among other countries. The operator, owned by ground agent Westminster Hong Kong, currently has a number of offers available including five nights in Hong Kong for £498 per person or five nights in Beijing for £499.
