n superbreak deal is largest forte signing



Forte Hotels has signed a two-year deal with the UK’s largest domestic operator Superbreak to make it the firm’s largest hotel supplier. The company will feature 85 Forte properties in its Superbreak andGoldenrail brochures when they are launched next month.



n Palmair and festival launch fly-cruise break



Charter airline Palmair has teamed up with Festival Cruises to offer its first-ever fly-cruise holiday.Palmair will fly customers from Bournemouth to Genoa on August 24, when they will board Festival’s ship Azur for a 12-night cruise.



n P&O NSF places ú180M ship order



P&O NorthSea Ferries has placed a ú180m order for two new conventionalferries to operate theHull-Rotterdam route. The vessels, which will replace four existing ships on the crossing, will cut journey time from 13hrs 30mins to 11 hrs. The ships are set for delivery in April 2001 and December 2001.



n Belfast gets green light on new terminal



Belfast International Airport has been grantedpermission to build asecond terminal to give it a 5m-passenger capacity.



n ABta takes action against rogue two



ABTA has cancelled the membership of Barnet-based Inter-Towns Travel and Luton-based Orchid Travel. The association saidInter-Towns failed to provideadditional bonding forpassengers, while Orchid failed to providemanagement accounts.
