Travelwise acquires four new contracts


Travelwise International has won four new business travel accounts. McLean and Appleton Holdings in Warrington, Same Day Plc in Knutsford and ManCat in Manchester will all be managed from Travelwise’s Handforth branch, while the TIGroup, based in Deeside, will be handled by the agent’s Liverpool branch.


Phoenix Travel to run Group 4 account


Phoenix Travel Group has won the £500,000 business travel account of Group 4 Securitas International. The Worcestershire-based security company’s account was previously handled by American Express. The business will be handled by Phoenix’s Cheltenham office.


GEMS system comes top in prism ratings


BTIUK’s data processing and reporting system, GEMS, has been acknowledged as having the highest standard of any agency system in Europe, according to independent data analyst Prism. The system collates information on clients’ travel expenditure, reporting back to travel managers. This information can also be fed into a central, independent reporting system.
