SWANHellenic has introduced one-week cruises to its winter programme for the first time in its 1999/2000 brochure.
The four one-week cruises in the Far East can be combined with a tour or hotel stay. A cruise from Hong Kong to Vietnam, combined with a holiday in China, starts from ú2,925 for a total of 13 days.
A voyage from Singapore to Vietnam via Borneo, plus a holiday in Malaysia, leads in at ú2,845 for 14 nights.
Managing director Carol Marlow said: “We have done some one-week cruises in the summer but not in the winter before. They have proved popular in the summer.
“We are offering the tour or stay option to make it a two-week holiday, because we don’t think there will be much take-up for one-week-only trips to the Far East. Previously, we have offered a two-week cruise plus a one-week tour or stay.”
Swan Hellenic is also introducing Grand Voyages of 58 days. The Millennium Grand Voyage departs on December 7 1999 and includes 24 stops in 10 countries between Oman and Hong Kong.
