GECAPITAL Travel Insurance Services has signed a contract with Tapestry Holidays to provide cover and services for its customers.
The Turkey specialist previously had a two-year deal with Suretravel for its cover.
Tapestry managing director Nick Wrightman said he made the switch as GE Capital would be able to underwrite policies in-house. He stressed the relationship with Suretravel had been a good one.
The GECapital contract runs for one year.
n GECapital has appointed two trainers to ensure staff are fully briefed on travel insurance issues and industry trends. They will also make sure staff are trained on new technology to improve customer contacts.
