CROSSAIR is enhancing its UK network this summer by stepping up frequencies on its regional flights from March 28.
The Swissair majority-owned carrier is adding another flight to its Birmingham-Zurich route to make it a thrice-daily service. It is also adding a second daily rotation to its Birmingham-Basel operation.
On the Edinburgh-Basel route, new daily weekend flights are being added for Saturdays and Sundays. Services are also being increased at Manchester, with the addition of a third daily week-day flight from its current double-daily on March 1. The increase in flights to Basel from the UK is possible following the airline’s decision to make the Swiss city its European hub, offering onward connections to an extensive network for UK passengers.
Crossair is also enhancing its London City-Zurich service by increasing flights from four a day to five in the summer. The improved network will also help Swissair, which codeshares on some of the UK network, offering more options through the Qualiflyer European alliance.
