Funway plans new Las Vegas short breaks

FUNWAY Holidays will be one of the first US specialists to offer three-night breaks to Las Vegas, on the back of Virgin Atlantic’s new non-stop flights beginning in June.

The new service is the first direct scheduled flight from the UK, although Airtours International operates direct charters year round.

Funway says that starting prices in the main season for three nights, including flights and accommodation will match the current winter rates at £369.

Managing director Stephen Hughes said: “Virgin’s non-stop scheduled flights will help us to increase the market to Las Vegas throughout the coming year.

“We have access to an unlimited supply of accommodation and maintain a full local service office in Las Vegas.

“We also have our own ground handlers and check-in desks at the resort’s McCarran Airport.

“In our experience, most UK customers spend six nights there. In summer, it is often combined with Arizona and California and in winter tends to be a single-centre destination.”
