TAILOR-MADE specialist Travelpack has introduced new rail tours and city breaks in its summer US programme.
The new rail tours by Amtrak include a seven-night Great American Cities package taking in New York, Boston, Washington and Philadelphia from £454, excluding flights.
An east to west tour offers two options – 11 nights from New York to Las Vegas and 16 nights from the Big Apple to Los Angeles, from £1,374.
Travelpack’s city series features two nights/three days in a choice of nine locations in the east, west and Great Lakes region, from £94 excluding flights. The operator is also offering a flexi self-drive service for clients wanting to put together their own itinerary in New England and the west.
Product director Peter Allen said: “Clients have always had the option to do this but now they can have the benefit that the pre-planned self-drive tour clients enjoy, which is a personalised tour kit. The fee for this service starts from £32 per booking but to encourage early sales to the western US we are offering it free for any bookings made before March 31.”
It includes a day-by-day itinerary with driving instructions, hotel vouchers and maps.
