n india tourist office appoints new uk director



TheGovernment of India Tourist Office has appointed Alka Kohli as its new UK director. Kohli was previously based in India as the tourist office’s director of hospitality, domestic and adventure tourism. She replaces Mahesh Lakhanpal, who has returned to India to become the office’s regional director in Delhi. Kohli said she wanted to convert existing British interest in India into actual travel to the destination.



n group to build second nausicaa in montpelier



A second version of Boulogne-basedmarine attraction Nausicaa is to be built in Montpelier. Nausicaa has signed a deal with Grant Leisure Group to develop the ú6m project, The new attraction will include a shark tank.

The London Tourist Board has redesigned its trade andconsumer publications to give them a more uniform look.



It has also introduced two new publications – IncentiveLondon for the incentive market; and Capital Breaks, which is aimed at the domestic visitors.
