P&O European Ferries is to market its Liverpool-Dublin freight service to budget holiday traffic for the first time.
The company has been operating a freight service on the route for some years and allowing some motorists on board on an ad hoc basis.
Now, because of its popularity, the company has decided to market the service to agents and feature it in its 1999 P&O European Ferries programme. The brochure also features Larne-Fleetwood and Rosslare-Cherbourg crossings. The lead-in for Dublin to Liverpool is ú60 return.
