CHATEAU EDMONTON ADDS TO ROOM STOCK
Edmonton has added to its accommodation stock with the new Chateau Edmonton Hotel and Suites, featuring 140 rooms and a 6,000sq ft spa centre, while four floors are being added to the Union Bank Inn, providing another 26 bedrooms, including eight executive suites.
COSMOS WIDENS ROCKIES TOUR SELECTION
Cosmos has introduced three new Canadian tours in its second-edition America and Canada programme. They include the 11-day Heart of the Canadian Rockies tour from £1,095; The Western Canada and Rocky Mountaineer rail tour, 12 days from £1,339; and a 20-day itinerary combining the Canadian Rockies with California, from £1,495.
AMERICAN ADVENTURES RELEASES ’99 BROCHURE
Kent-based operator AmeriCan Adventures has released its 1999 brochure of small group tours. Notable amongst these are those to Canada’s Rocky Mountains, the coast-to-coast itineraries and the Yukon to Alaska tour. Land prices start from £275 for a seven-day Rockies safari. The Yukon tour lasts 28 days and is priced from £779 out of either Vancouver or Seattle.
